Gonna say that this is not as "immediate" as the stuff on nbtH, but it definitely feels very natural for this guys. Have played this and the previous track many times now and they indeed get better each time. In addition, i guess this album would be one of those ones that really needs a full album experience. The atmosphere is alien and desolate, and it takes a few minutes for the music mood to be set for me. One more time I'm having problem categorizing this guys. It moves even further away from death and black metal, yet manages to make the atmosphere that many BM and DM bands dream of making.
