Well the first single sounds good and the video is very well done as well. Dunno who else cares about the cover

Guitars are finally getting the recognition by being louder and more flashy parts, this might be their most solid release

I swear to god they've been getting less and less interesting since king. This is the most boring album they've put out. I fucking wish they would just go back to "Mafia" style of songwriting .

I love the evolution. I already listen to it 5 times and it could be their best. It's the most varied and dynamic record of FA to date. The band has a vision, they know the style they are inventing and it sounds amazing.

Naturally there'll be true metalheads that will see this as a step down, I also wasn't a fan of King, but this one is a masterpiece. I, mean, "Embrace The Oblivion": what a song!!!

Giant step back imo...they lost their bombastic and symphonic edge and now they sound like just another death metal band with a bit of Amorphis thrown in.

Whoa, first time for so long I can actually HEAR guitars here. A bit less symphonic parts but the groove. Very solid release.

Your opinion, not mine. FA has never been your standard death metal band, come on be serious ! AGONY remains my favourite but I enjoyed their later releases and KING was very good even thought not as brutal maybe. Even thought I haven't browsed thru the whole album it already sounds good and cracking with unlimited energy. Need to listen some more but I'm already liking it !

I'm not tempted to check this one so if possible could someone hit me with the highlight track of this album?

I was already prepared my 10 but... alright, as a huge fan I still can't give a 10.

Fans of their brutal era will be disappointed. I honestly like this newer, more accessible, sound a lot. The orchestral elements are on point and there's a much more pronounced melodic bent

Reise, Reise is absolutely brutal!!! Excellent choice for a cover! This song played as symphonic death metal is very well done! Rammstein must be very proud!!

The instrumental version is better, I am tired of the harsh vocals, they overwhelm all the instruments.

According to you (and for that matter, me as well). But everyone else is entitled to have their opinion and since we live in a democratic society, they are also allowed to express it. Doesn't mean they are insane. They just have different opinion on this album. I can imagine that fans of Mafia & Oracles can be disappointed by the direction the band took on King & Veleno. Not gonna judge them.

I mean...I don't LITERALLY mean they're insane..I'm just expressing how thrilling the album was for me...lol. And yes, I'd assume big fans of Mafia and Oracles weren't too happy with Agony and everything after it. But I fell in love with the band when I first heard their work on Agony, so I guess that's just baseline for me - I expect sympho-death from them, and they deliver!

Pretty much this. However I actually also liked their symphonic albums if not as much their more techy ones but they definitely have their own unique appeal. My problem with the newest is that it has just too many fillers of boring passages. There are definitely still some great moments here and there but the overall songwriting has really degraded in my opinion. On top of that the riffs are often just meh and you cannot hear them well enough half of the time. It is probably not a bad album though if you do not compare it too much to their previous stuff.

Im not a big fan of the band, vocals usually ruin it for me but I find this album to be one of their best yet.

You're correct about one thing...it's my opinion. If they wanted to go back to sounding like any run of the mill death metal band, then they certainly achieved it. Good job on regressing.

To me they will never sound like your everyday death metal band but keep true to your beliefs and have a nice evening !

Does anyone else hate the production on this album? It gives me audio fatigue after just a few songs.
