As announced in the news post, this is a place to collect actual bugs and issues, not ideas yet and also not general issues with site functionality. Just problems that weren't there before the move but are now

the 'œ' in Chaos Echœs does not seem to have copied across - I don't know whether there's other band pages with similar issues that will need fixing

Yes. Also, I've tried to edit this in one of my reviews but the review refuses to get published.

Seems that sound links on the Metal Quiz are broke (or perhaps it's just chrome being pissed off?)
I get the puzzle piece icon. Were the sound bytes in the quiz playing using Flash or something?

I am in community_forum_new posts most of the time. Every page reload there ist muuuuch slower now (10-15 secs). But I read you are on it.

When I try to open any profile picture, I get a page full of encrypted symbols (I don't know the name for that). This only happens with user's avatars. Any other image I try to open, like band photos, album covers etc., loads normally.

I find it very comfortable to have new posts across all threads on one screen.
I hope you can speed the reload up somehow.

It's been my starting page ever since and I use it whenever I'm online by simply refreshing it regularly. It's much more convenient for me than /forum, because you can read (or skip) everything and reply without even having to visit specific threads.
This function is roughly 10 times slower now than it used to be.

That's the page that is so slow for me as well. Should have probably mentioned it as apart from that, everything is indeed faster.

To me all works faster , all places in the site I visit are faster.

I've been here since 2002 and I discovered this feature litterally two months ago

^ I had never used it until today. I always go community_forum_updated topics.

edit: New posts are also slow for me. Everything else is faster than before.

Much improved
It is under 5 sec for me now. Not as rapid as the reload on literally all other pages here now.
But I am totally fine with it.

That's an unfortunate side-effect of a work-around for a limitation of the old database that now bites us in the ass. If you have a list of bands or albums, you can report them to Starvynth. Or submit a fix yourself.

Hoo boy, it's a lot of them. I just looked at the first 10 bands from each of those country and almost all had at least one problem

But it's not your fault, that was decided on Saturday.

Still, the site has been growing and evolving for 20 years and not every staff or elite is tasked with the same things. I have officially been the developer for half a year now and I keep finding new features every week
