Aeon were always one of my go-to death metal bands for absolute no nonsense, unadulterated speed and blastbeats... They've been steering a slightly different direction lately with this slower, heavier stuff. I'm still enjoying it - and I imagine most of the rest of the album will be business as normal too - but this is a band I would have been more than happy to listen to the same thing from over and over.
