Tech-death has just been incredible this past half year.

Hell yes! You seem in the know, might giving my death metal lists a glance? I'm looking for more recommendations, any type of death metal will do

Dark Forever
Ruído Sonoro
Some good ideas here, but composition feels messy and chaotic (sometimes chaos is good, but here it often leads nowhere). Vocals and instrumental are good but nothing stands out. 6.8

I like some of the sounds, especially the bass. Also, the vocals are stellar. But musically, this is giving me a headache. It was a chore of a first listen.

Really intriguing vocal work from time to time. The bass is superb as well and the classical elements are well grounded. This might be one of the few technical death metal albums I've enjoyed in years.

This is a technical masterclass, with an incredible display of musicianship skills, the highlight for me here is definitely the bass work which is incredibly good but complex.

The last few years has been swamped by technical death metal albums, and is a genre I can't usually get into, but I have to admit, this is one of the better releases. Still way to complex for me to fully appreciate, I don't really have that high level of concentration required, but I understand the work that goes into an album like this, so they have my respect.
