Sergio Corbucci is dead, but Kreator are still very much alive. Seriously, I have no idea what that intro track is all about as I have no idea why bands use irrelevant intro tracks that offer nothing to the general album experience, but let’s not dwell on that. But I can safely say that their best album since Endorama -- well, actually since Coma of Souls, since I totally dislike all 90s Kreator -- for me clearly is their 2001 album Violent Revolution, by far. Edit: And 90s Kreator here of course excludes the 1990 Coma of Souls.

Leaving the political takes ( that seem to have been taken from some angry teenagers of twitter or reddit) in the lyrics aside, this album is a big drop in quality compared to Gods of Violence. I'm undecided between a 5 or a 6.

It's definitely hard to top the classics of the 80s, but once in a while there are some modern exceptions (Hazzerd, Vektor). While Hate Über Alles isn't as phenomenal as the releases of those bands, it was still an enjoyable listen for me
