Nice to see Nile and Judas Priest

You've seriously got to listen to Bolt Thrower!!! Their best album (Those Once Loyal) came out in 2005!

Another one from 2005 that I don't like that much but I might have put as an honorable mention is Gojira's From Mars to Sirius

I'm planning on listening to Kamelot and Nevermore...

No love for Dark Tranquillity?
That was the year Character came out, which is by many considered one of their best albums -- not by me though

Absolute banger of a year, I'd have to agree with the Arch Enemy and System Of A Down picks. As others pointed out, Bolt Thrower released a masterpiece this year, and I'd say that the same thing goes for Carnival In Coal and Behold The Arctopus. Other great albums were released this year by Vinterriket, Shining, Meshuggah, Orthrelm and StarGazer ; while Ephel Duath, Sieges Even, Dream Theater or Frantic Bleep released some pretty cool but stuff, but definitely not on the same level.

Oh I haven't heard that one, I'm not very learned when it comes to Gothenburg stuff unfortunately.
