Only a black metal band can make heavy metal sound gloomy and rotten.

Fans of Tribulation, take notice. Listen to "Kiss From A Knife". Then, the title track. When you recover, listen to the whole album and worship it. Probably the best mix of black and heavy metal out there.

This album is so unique, I have no idea what to really make of it, there is influences of black, heavy metal and even punk, I like it, but I also find it bizarre at the same time. The guitar work is very complex at times, but can also be very groovy, and the drumming is incredible.

This album is really unique. Had a great time listening to it. The songs are mostly on the heavy, groovy, easy-metal side (with exceptions like Kiss from a Knife), but the blackened vocals give them a grim touch that works pretty well. I would definetely tag it as black metal despite the instrumentals, it has the right atmosphera and feeling. As AndyMetalFreak, the drums are a highlight, very jazzy and complex at times. Some parts are kinda psychedellic. Great album.
