Talk about underrated. Satan is the only NWOBHM band that has released only quality albums throughout their career. And, if Court In The Act is an untouchable classic, these geezers have been crazy consistent in putting out stellar album after stellar album since their reunion. Earth Infernal is another incredible release and features all the ingredients that make Satan special; analogue-sounding heavy metal with an evil, sinister, and dark edge, catchy riffs that touch on thrash and speed metal, triumphant lead guitars, Brian Ross’s powerful vocals that have aged like fine wine, a hard-hitting rhythm section, and the band’s trademark bridges that are simply to die for. You will not find better classic metal anywhere else, no matter how hard you look for it.

Still few more days until this thing comes out. AMG already gave it 4/5 so chances are it's going to be awesome.

You've got a lot of guts. Let's see what they look like!

Can't wait for this to drop - the previews online sound fucking ace. Brian Ross is on great form. The best NWOBHM out there at the moment - Satan gets its fat hairy arse out and shits all over most metal around today.

Got this yesterday - I've already spun it many times and you're right: it's fucking sweet. Apart from the incongruous instrumental filler, which is completely pointless, every track is killer. Underrated by the hipsterati, obviously.

Thanks to Nikarg above for the staff pick - wish I could thumb it up mate. This is a fantastic album - why are so many metalheads sleeping on this great band?

No idea why this band is not more popular, man. They are in their 60s with their original lineup for the most part, which is very rare. And the overall rating of this album here is inexplicable to me. It is very early but, so far, it is one of the contenders for my AOTY.

I really liked the last album as well. Must admit, I haven't given this new one my attention (yet). I'll add it to the playlist.

I absolutely LOVED the last album, but this one may be even better.

All the records since they came back in 2013 are fucking sick, I would recommend you check all of them out if you haven't yet
This one might be my favorite as a whole although I like some tracks from the other albums better, like "Incantations" or "Atom by Atom".

I loved atom by atom. I like this one too. Satan's brand of heavy metal is not your typical heavy metal tone, it has a slightly progressive edge to it which makes it really interesting.
