Can Niklas Thiele write a bad album, no he is super good to write a good albums. Bm, mix whit folk instruments and basically decent music and it us examples how good all germanic languages are in a metal. Only what he could think is to have a female guest vocalists.

There are some glorious folky riff melodies on this,
particularly on "Galgenblech" and the closing title track, which sets you in a party mood.

I'm not quite sure if mixing traditional black metal riffing and sound with this kind of folk works that well though, it does kind of have a wee bit of a cringy edge to it at times, and the vocals don't quite match the music style for the mist part, but I still find it quite enjoyable.
For me it sounds like a blend of Primordial and Burzum, with Korpiklanni thrown into the mix.
