They still haven't said HOW sites are to verify users' ages. Just that they aren't allowed to ask for any sort of government issued id, like drivers licences

But it also speaks of "reasonable means" that platforms have to take. We can't legally ask for government ID, so it'll be interesting to find out what constitutes as "reasonable" under that bill.

That's one of the reasons why we're not affected by the DSA. It's interesting that Australia's legislation works with such wide and blurry definitions. It seems like you can subsummize almost anything under this definition.

63C (3) is interesting: "in determining whether the condition set out in subparagraph (1)(a)(i) is satisfied, disregard and of the following purposes: (a) the provision of advertising material on the service".

Not ALL or ANY of the following conditions. So it's unclear, at least to me, whether satisfying any of the conditions would make us affected.
