Don't listen to them. SOP gets such a bad rep on MS. I honestly think it competes strongly with Human for Death's finest accomplishment.

Yeah it is such a great album. Some of the best riffs ever and such an astonishing drum work.

That's not quite what I'm trying to get at, although you've made a good point. It's a great album and is very highly regarded by the Metal Storm community as a whole. But I find that the grand majority of the "frequent users" here tend to dislike the album. Maybe I'm just exaggerating, but the mere presence of SOP on a list of favourite albums tends to attract a lot of attention. There are albums far inferior to this one that don't get called out on other lists.

I had to give thumbs up, simply because of Gnaw their tongues. That album is one of the best things ever. Really great taste besides that

no. I guess I checked more than 500 albums on average during the last three years not that I have heard them all several times, and for many of them, I even maybe did not finish my first spin, but I guess I gave them enough chance to impress me.
