Great recommendation! Although I don't think I can class HTW as an album given its 20min runtime (anything under 30min is an EP in my books).

I know right. The top 200 list certainly isn't the be-all and end-all. So many gems to be found at below 200 votes!

I've got another recommendation for you and anyone else who's interested: Into Eternity by Desultory
I find it sounds similar to The Nocturnal Silence. Both are overlooked masterpieces of death metal from 1993!

I've heard this album. I like it but not enough for it to make this list unfortunately (8/10 IMO).

Thumbs up for Tarot

Some are overlooked indeed, some are just not that known, some are obscure (or at least unknown to me).

It's mind boggling how some of these albums have so few ratings!! I don't know all of them, but in my opinion, Defying The Rules, Delerium Veil, Tarot, In Control, Ghosts and Forbidden World are insanely good albums! Some are masterpieces within their respective genres!

I've updated this list to be sorted by lowest to highest number of votes then MS rating. As these are albums with a low number of votes, the rating is likely to change frequently. I will update this list as often as I can.

I find the title of the list slightly misleading. I would have expected only albums with a low number of votes, like really low, where obviously it depends on how to define 'low'.
But I do see that we may have differing benchmarks for where to put the bar for a low number of rates, and somehow that is of course arbitrary, but I guess I would have put the bar somewhere around 20 votes or so. Having the side effect that you wouldnt tend to go overboard with the limit of 200 spots easily.
But, yeah that might be due to different benchmarks, as I am mostly lurking around in areas of Metal Storm where albums are old, really old, and thus often -- if not always -- have less than say 50 votes.

I see what you mean - I figured 200 votes then made it something of a counterpart to the top 200 albums, using that as the benchmark. I could set the limit at 20 but the list would be very small and lots of great albums that have 21-199 votes would be missing potential exposure from here. If someone discovers an album rated 7.9/10 with 21 votes that they enjoy like I did for example, then this list will have done its job.

Dont get me wrong, this is a great idea for a list to sort of mirror the unseen part of the Top 200 with your personal favourites. I just thought the list could maybe benefit from a more specific title referencing to this main purpose of the list -- but I cannot come up with a good example from the top of my head either
Nevermind, dude, the list will certainly do its job for many MS users.
