A little list series where I list my top 20 favorite metal albums every year starting from the year I was born in.
2004 was a another good year, especially for my favorite genres Symphonic metal and power metal, even if it wasn't the strongest overall year for metal the 2000's started pretty slowly for metal, but 2004 was a fantastic year for other music genres My favorite non metal albums from 2004 1. American Idiot By Green Day (Pop Punk, Pop Rock, Rock Opera)  4. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge By My Chemical Romance (Emo rock, Pop Punk)  5. MM..FOOD By MF DOOM (East Coast Hip Hop, Abstract Hip Hop, Experimental Hip Hop)  My favorite movie from 2004

This is a great year imo, there's some underrated/overlooked classics  I'm still yet to hear Eppur Si Muove so that sadly doesn't make my list  here's my ranking:1. Quo Vadis - Defiant Imagination 2.
