Octomore is Bruichladdich's brand where they experiement with extremly peated whisky. A bottle usually is at least around €150. Totally worth it though
Laphroaig 15 was brilliant and at a good cost. until thye discontinued it to make more meh 10. Ardbeg is great, had a special bottle tucked away for groomsmen at my wedding.
So album as a whole is much better than the impression that I had based on the single tracks that she released. Still I think she should avoid going more metalic, though. Not surprisingly, the best tracks are the ones that are slower in pace and have more subtle and moody atmospher.

I like this direction she's going in, and as long as she continues to balance this new, heavier sound with the other elements of her style, her music should still be pretty damn good. I'd hate it if she just became a plain metal band, but I have good feelings that she'll retain her uniqueness as the years go on.
Side note: Twin Fawn is a fucking awesome song. Just wanted to say that.
If this album doesn't finally elevate Chelsea into realms of metal, I will be perplexed indeed. "Hidden invisible profile" is an abomination for a music as black as this!
Make this right, Metal Storm!
Excelent album! It's impossible not to love this dark atmosphere.
And of course, i also think Chelsea Wolfe should be visible in ms. It might not be the most common or traditional type of "metal" , but it's for sure metal, in a experimental and dark way.
Going to give this time to see if it has some real replayability and staying power, but if it does I might have to bump this up to a 10. I like it that much.
