Expectations were high for this album. Singer Burton C. Bell, up until now the only consistent member of the band, has quit Fear Factory for the third and presumably final time. While guitarist Dino Cazares confirmed that Fear Factory will continue without Bell, many longtime fans remain skeptical whether any future replacement singer can live up to Bell's legacy and would therefore love to see the "old" Fear Factory go out with a bang.

Changed my rating twice. Fell in love with the second half.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Am I missing something? For me this album was very very boring. The same kind of chuga chuga riffs. Uninteresting choruses. Shabby songwriting.

Solid album!! Typical Fear Factory sound, nothing new here, just the glorious industrial metal FF style. Solid production, riffing and the vocals top notch. Althought it seems clear that Burton is slowly losing his vocal quality, he´s still one of the best vocalists out there.
Overall, Agression Continuum is slightly inferiour to Genexus, Genexus had more standouts, but AC is still good. The title is a bit cheesy, Monolith would be way better.

If this is to be the last FF album with Burton, then it´s a fine goodbye.

I finally got around to listening to this enough to get my head around it. It's more of the same from this band and just makes me want to go listen to better albums by them. Kind of a sad end to a decent, influential band. It doesn't matter who the new singer ends up being, Dino is a one trick pony and his songwriting has gotten stale. He should just stick a fork in it and go back to making Asesino and Divine Heresy albums.

Agree with the majority. Just feels like an album put together just to release something. Doesn’t do much for me apart from making me want to go listen to Demanufacture.
