Rating: 7 A generally fast and chaotic album, with obvious Venom and Bathory influences. The raw production and eerie atmosphere created by demonic voices and those rites being read on opening track 'The exorcism' really make the blackened nature of this album effective, although the instrumentation itself isn't perfect. The guitar work is probably the most prominent here (as is the case with many bands who play this style), and solos are well executed in 'Cut-throat', 'Insurrection of the damned' and the epic closer 'Endless funeral'.
