Rating: 9 An album filled with various moods: at times insane and seemingly frantic (helped by some very well handled guitar solos), and at others relaxing and beautiful. What King Crimson have usually done so well on previous albums is here in spades; that is, trying to sound completely and utterly different to anything else that could be called music. 'Starless and Bible Black' is one hell of a good 70's Progressive rock album.
