This is it! This – this! – is the Riverside that I've been waiting for ever since I heard their first album Out of Myself. This – and not the two albums released meanwhile – is the most worthy successor to the album that had me hooked for weeks and weeks. Not that I have anything bad to say about Second Life Syndrome or Rapid Eye Movement. On the contrary, those were good Riverside albums. But those didn't shine like the first one. Or like this one does. Fresh. Sharp. Bright.

No comments about this monster of a prog album? The album length worried me at first glance but each song is sooo good that it doesn't matter. Michal Lapaj really stands out for me on this album.

Quality over quantity indeed. Always preffer a short album with only brilliance to be heard than an album that is very long and it's brilliant but with some parts that are "just good".

Can't imagen I didn't knew this band before Shrine of new Generation Slaves! This is one of the best prog albums I've ever heard. "Egoist Hedonist" is one of the best prog songs of the last years! Differend instruments makes it interesting every time you hear it!
