Lead by multi-talented Christian Älvestam (ex-Scar Symmetry, Torchbearer, The Few Against Many and Solution .45 - among others) and multi-instrumentalist Jani Stefanovic (The Weakening, The Few Against Many, Mehida and Solution .45), Miseration originated in Sweden and graced the world with their debut in late 2007 (Japan, late 2006).

Would be so much better without the clean vocals.

This album is class. Who gives a fuck about their use of clean vocals? This guy is the best in the business, so why not make use of it? Some transition issues but other than that I think its awesome.

Christian Alvestam's cleans ''faggy''? You are a blaspheming heretic! lol
As a fan of clean and brutal vocals, I think the vocals on this album are awesome. But then I am a big Christian Alvestam fan, so I am a little biased I guess. The music is also great too. Im still a bit sad that he left Scar Symmetry, but I love hearing him sing, even it is in other bands. xD

LOL, apologies ma'am but i seriously dislike clean vocals in death metal ... only exception being 'some' Opeth and Edge of sanity.

Lol, I hate Akerfeldt's clean vocals. His growls are worse though (in Opeth). XD

Hehee! Apologies accepted. lol
I dont have a problem with clean vocals in death metal, so long as the vocals are good. I think it depends on the band as well. Some death metal bands would just sound stupid with clean vocals. I think the more melody in the death metal, the more receptive it is to sounding good with clean vocals.

I feel the same about Black Metal. I hate when bands start to use clean vocals. Imo, clean vocals don't fit the fierceness of extreme music.
But I must admit that I have a negative bias against clean vocals in metal nowadays. Apart from very rare exceptins, I don't listen to metal with clean vocals. And the kind of cleans I like are not really cleans, in fact (things like old Slayer or Kreator).

I agree about the clean vocals. they are not bad but they make the album much worse...
