Certainly this is a good album, I mean, the band surely is doing something right as even Mike Patton praises their music and albums. Too bad for me, I just can't find their magic beans anywhere; it is a good album though, and the band unquestionably knows how to write complex music and happy riffs, but well…here's the deal:

Great return of the craziest american band. Powerful, progressive, violent, disturbing, funky and jazzy... just unique! The Dillinger Escape Plan is the living proof that metal can still be original nowadays. Option Paralysis, released by the french label Season Of Mist, should convice old fans like new ones who are maybe looking for something a bit more accessible.

Answer the 23th of march 2010!

This album is very boring from start to finish. It sounds like a less inspired Ire Works.

I can't believe I'm saying this to describe a DEP album, as they're known for the complete opposite.

A good album that is definitely different in structure compared to 'Ire Works', in that not one single song falls under the two minute mark, giving way to a even more experimentation than ever before. It's not their best, but it is a good example of their talents.
