To-Mera's music is generally not easily accessible. From the first demo To-Mera has required a considerable effort to get into the vibe. If you picture their music as a steep hill that's hard to climb on its own even when employing four-limb drive, it was made harder to grasp by someone throwing rocks at you from the top of the hill. It required a fair amount of concentration to listen to them. Now the band are back with the new EP called Earthbound.

Most people who can even stand To-Mera don't like the direction the band headed with this release; Most people who have never heard of To-Mera probably will not like it at all. Please be patient all of you. Give this EP a few turns on the table with your outmost, undivided attention. You will discover something different during each listen. It is really a remarkable progressive metal record.

This EP is fantastic. The incorporation of the 8 string-guitars and the blending of the jazz influences with the metal sections result in maximum win.
Also the production is a lot better, the vocals don't sound annoying as they did at times in the older albums. Looking forward for their next release this month
