So, apparently the AFL had to pay a fee to Warner Bros because the new AFL team will be called the Tasmanian Devils, just because WB thinks they own global copyright to the name of an animal

Additional info The title translates to "Broken Naked Monkeys."
The sticker on the cover reads "Deunion Album - File Under Endzeitstimmungspunk", with "Endzeitstimmungspunk" translating to something like "Doomsday mood punk."
Sad Reminder: This is the swansong of the bizarre squad that is Japanische Kampfhörspiele.
Being both extremely brutal and fun, this album will make your head explode with its unothodox ideas and schizophrenic vocal delivery. It's not everyday you get your grindcore so forward-thinking.

Beside the cover, there is nothing much out of the ordinary !! so its a good generic album ///
I have to echo Mr. D here, Japanische Kampfhörspiele can be accused of many things but "generic" isn't one of them, unless you have access to a pool of obscure and original sounding grindcore bands of course?

Okay, let me admit, they have some genuine ideas here and there, but its not mind-blowing , and doesn't meet the hype i heard abt it .. after all, thats just my opinion ,,

I wish that ,, not just for grindcore, but for metal in general too !

What hype? This band has always been quite obscure among grindcore community let alone metal in general.
It''s fine if you don't like it...But "generic" it's an objective word and therefore something I can comment on...

I have to admit, I have never regarded them as special or wacky or whatever either. But I'm not much into grindcore and still wouldn't be if JaKa hadn't convinced me otherwise some 7 years ago. If they are generic, please do me the favour and name some bands which sound alike.

that what i meant, the hype within grindcore community, You pick it up for MS staff, get a nomination , and on my facebook ... May be i made a mistake in call it "generic", but its not so original either ! .. that what i felt when i heard it

That was my point. I'd dare to say that I'm quite a bit into grindcore, highly enjoy many bands and I'm yet to find any other from the genre that sound like them... The closest I can get it's !T.O.O.H.! and I'm still way off.

I've been into JaKa before it was cool. Just sayin'.
No really, JaKa aren't all that obscure, but are actually quite well-known in the German grind scene. They even got to play on the main stage of Summer Breeze (20k attendees) a few years ago, very early on that day, but still. I personally am happy that they are finally getting some attention internationally, even though they've just split up.
Anyway, we are digressing from talking about this album. How about we move this discussion to the general purpose JaKa thread?

I just moved my quote to avoid further offtopicness
Just one tiny offtopic comment before I end this discussion here: Well yeah, they are getting finally some internatinal attention.... And stress "finally" and "some". That's why the word hype doesn't compute
Over!
