So, apparently the AFL had to pay a fee to Warner Bros because the new AFL team will be called the Tasmanian Devils, just because WB thinks they own global copyright to the name of an animal

Sounds like absolute shit, DO NOT LISTEN. EMO METER HITS A HARD 9/10, avoid or u may be forced to strike your delete button to destruction or melt your CD with a magnifying glass.

Gerald Massey: "They must find it difficult ... those who have taken authority as the truth, rather than truth as the authority."
I'd like to think that 'Daybreaker' features the best of both worlds-those worlds being the band's previous two albums, 'Hollow Crown' and 'The Here and Now'. Sam Carter's vocals aren't that effective but they add to the raw emotions and true feelings of the music itself. This isn't emo in my opinion. This is very (sometimes) atmospheric hardcore. It suits some people, but not others.

Is windy up on your throne?
This isn't emo at all, this some decent post-hardcore. (apart from the vocalist)
I find it funny that you bash almost every metalcore band on MS, yet you User is btbamfan.
First album I listened to from this band. Blends a lot of genres I like. Reminds me of Amia Venera Landscape
This is the only album from them like this.
The previous one is pure modern post-hc (afaik, I haven't listened to it) and anything before it is a sort of mathcore/tech metalcore similiar to the harsh sections heard on this album.
And this is quite delicious indeed. I decided to grab it anyways and I was surprised how addictive this is. Only fault I can find is that there are too many soft songs that don't work as well as they could.
For those who enjoyed this album, I recommend checking out "Discoveries" by Northlane and "Impulse" by Erra, both are mathcore/technical metalcore bands with melodic guitarwork and are great albums both.
I don't mind emo cleans, but these are a little weak for the genre. I don't remember hearing any of those in LF//LT though. It's still a very nice album. It might grow on me. Thank you Ana.

Oh, damn it, you don't like it! lol Well, I tried. Maybe it will grow on you at some point or just our tastes are different.

I liked it actually, maybe my vote seems low. I consider six a very good grade for something I enjoyed but won't be going back to often. It's just that there's such a contrast between this one and LT//LF, and the latter suits my tastes better. Have you listened to the four other full-lengths? How are they compared to these two we talked about?

Actually, I discovered them with Daybreaker and then listened to this new one. So, I'm only familiar with these two last albums. So many albums, so little time, you know? If you do listen to them, give me a ring, so to speak.
I just think they are interesting because their approach to metalcore and hardcore isn't as predictable as some other bands who get a lot more attention.
