19:23 - Zaphod Joe, I thought you didn't read? Ilham, the only record stores in Belgium these days are indie, all the major ones also went bankrupt :P well, we still have Fnac and Media Markt, but those aren't Belgian.
19:22 - flightoficarus86 Bottom line, I can't afford to pay $20 per album with all that I listen to.
19:21 - Ilham And Virgin France died, we're left with one big chain, one smaller, that sells new cds, and the rest is small indie stores that function the same way they have since decades, with small labels and mostly second hand. We're hipster
19:21 - !J.O.O.E.! I usually go to Amazon for books. PLenty at £0.01 (but have like £2.50 postage)
19:21 - Zaphod It probably comes down to Belgians being idiots then. As it always does.
19:18 - Redn1ght I only buy books new if I can easily find them from a certain regional store which usually is cheaper than Ebay. :)
19:18 - Ilham Weird, in France most of the record stores that aren't Virgin/Fnac almost only sell second hand.
I remember from a documentary on musical notes production and history, that the ancient Chinese believed music is the answer of human beings to their surroundings and nature. In this regard mostly their music is based on the five-tone instead of seven-tone scale.
Hence I would say Igorrr has got the best, righteous and exact answer to our surrounding, nature and environment by means of music. What do we have? We have chaos, no clear patterns for events, sometimes disastrous incidents and there are moments filled with pure beauty and bittersweet emotions.
It really doesn't matter what you've listened to in 2012, nothing comes within a light year of how schizophrenic, eclectic, bizarre, unique and brilliant this record is. Experimental breakcore and blasting cybergrind punctuated by modern classical piano and violin, arias, Latin guitar, chickens, fluttering bird wings, vacuum cleaners (no joke) and who knows what else.
Seriously. Unless you've heard this then you've heard nothing like this.
I was searching for Avantgarde metal in google, and then I found this piece of shit. Electronic dance music is the most disgusting musical genre ever and grindcore is a joke. And THIS ALBUM manages to mix the two biggest shit genres ever? No way....
The song Toothpaste has been misspelled on my iPod as Tootphaste for a long time, and this entire time I thought it was the way the song was actually spelled. I'm kind of disappointed to learn that it's actually just Toothpaste, as what I have on my iPod is fittingly weird.
