A staff guy...
It's impressive how well Nikita managed to come very close to sounding like Dmitry. The album is awesome in both English and Russian.

So what's the difference between this one and the English version other than the difference in languages?

So what's the difference between this one and the English version other than the difference in languages?

Different singer on 6 of 9 tracks.
Also some minor vocal melody changes and some changes of meaning in lyrics.
Well, it is pretty similar if you don't understand by ear both languages. But if you understand let's say English but don't understand Russian it is going to be very different experience.

Actually it was a kind of experiment to release 2 language versions of album. And results are not so obvious. While most people from Europe and USA tend to ignore any lyrics language but English, there is still good amount of people who are bored of English lyrics everywhere. As for the band's members, we prefer our native language of course which is Russian. So we decided to continue this practice for our 3rd album, which will also have 2 language versions.

PS: Btw it would be nice to make other versions, for example German, Spanish, French, Japanese, etc. But sadly I don't speak any other languages except Russian and English. If there are singers and lyricists who would like to collaborate, we could try it. Interesting international experience! =)

Hmm i see. You know sometimes when you listen to the song in a different language other than English it gets better, sometimes not, (example: Chthonic, i prefer their Taiwanese version). So it's like what you said it's a different experience. Anyway good luck!
