"'Dyodyo Asema', a 19-minute long bastard, was composed by Alkerdeel and Gnaw Their Tongues with the intention of celebrating the fifth anniversary of Consouling Sounds. Mind, it's not a split release, but a collaboration where both parties worked on one gloomy-drone-black-sludge-monolith of a song."

What do you get when you combine two of the darkest, most delicious bile spewing musical entities that are Gnaw Their Tongues and Alkerdeel? Something sinister that's for sure. Subtle blends of insidious doom, drone, black metal and dark ambient create an aural landscape dripping with death and disease. Even some melancholic melody seeps through. Start 2014 the right way; listen to this.

Discussing something related to the cover art is surprisingly more on topic than most threads these days.

Anyway, is this a 50/50 kind of split track? This will be an unpopular opinion amongst Metal Storm Staff/Elite but I've only managed to enjoy one or two albums from GTT. I really like Alkerdeel though and was hoping they kind of took control of the song for the most part.

DIscussing spiders isn't related to the cover since the cover has an insect on it and a spider isn't an insect

This isn't a 50/50 kind of split track. This track is a full coillaboration between Maurice and Alkerdeel. So as if it was just one band playing.

Sorry

I haven't listened to Gnaw Their Tongues properly yet but I really liked this. The part where Alkardeel was present about 9 minutes into the track was super nasty! The atmosphere totally changes with GTT which I guess was in the beginning buildup and ending decline, I'm not entirely certain. I feel like this music has a earthy quality to it, very tangible. The playlist it's apart of where you'll hear Dyodyo Asema is also very interesting.

Seriously, how similar is this record to Indian's one?

Mories and Alkerdeel should just start a project in the same vein as this.

This is one of the few Mories works that actually deserves the praise it gets normally in MS.
