J. N. - 29.03.2014 at 13:10
The hypest album on Metal Storm?
MétalNoir - 01.04.2014 at 22:05
The artwork is so fuckin' much better than Rekreatur's...
FreddeSwede - 04.06.2014 at 10:44
Rating: 9 The reviews I've read so far sounds promising. "Their best album so far...", " instant classic" and "Fans will not be disappointed!"
MetalDoomMaster - 06.06.2014 at 00:24
Rating: 5 This is incredibly mediocre. The music is so cheesy that it makes any Finntroll album sound like Ordo Ad Chao. It would be fine if it was good cheesy like Sagas, but it's just really lame.
JÄY - 06.06.2014 at 05:58
Rating: 9 Sounds great to me.. It'll be a grower, for sure.
annodomini - 06.06.2014 at 13:17
FUNtalitty! After playing "clone wars" with Rekreatur, band finally comes back to it's form. Reminds me of summer of 2008 (yes, Bryan Adams reference), when "Sagas" followed me everywhere and mood of the album was fantastic. this time again. Uplifting, epic, melodic and still different in a good way. It's not as amazing as Sagas, but lets be honest, I doubt that anyone will ever surpass the magnificents of Saga in folkmetal. Well this one i a great come back for me.
Dark Forever - 06.06.2014 at 21:29
Rating: 8 This sounds quite good, definitely better than Rekreatur.
Sword_Chant - 07.06.2014 at 13:06
Rating: 10 No words... except it's AWESOME

Edit: Did rate it as a 9, until I heard the bonus track and the instrumental CD... FUCK. Can't give it any less than a 10.
DarthSitthiander - 09.06.2014 at 01:42
Rating: 9 Easily a 9 because of the instrumental cd and "Uns'rer Flöten Klang" especially.

Rating: 7 Excited
Wurzelbernd - 12.06.2014 at 15:22
Rating: 10 Just awesome! In my opinion some of the songs on the new Album are in the list of the best Equi songs of all time. The Chorus Part of Heavy Chill makes me cry from awesomeness, because Robse singing more or less clean vocals sounds fantastic. Only point of criticism is Wirtshausgaudi. I don't like this one
sonatoarctico - 13.06.2014 at 13:27
Rating: 9 Only The Unknown Episode is in english

Great album as usual
Wes - 13.06.2014 at 18:01
Rating: 7 I wish I could rate this higher. Comparing it to Sagas, or even the one previous to Sagas, it just doesn't stand up. I'll give it more spins surely, and adjust my rating accordingly, but for now just not doing it. It is a bit cheesy as one person said perhaps, not sure yet.
Necrodamus - 14.06.2014 at 07:55
Rating: 8 Great album, but it's no Sagas. In my opinion, the first half has more substance than the second half. Still a good effort and it's good to know they are still relevant in the folk metal scene. Here's to the next
Xyanade - 16.06.2014 at 21:20
Rating: 9 Is it just me... After the EP Waldschrein, I found a lot of Jeremy Soule/TES soundtrack reference, at least 3 tracks in this album sounds that familiar.
svartberger - 18.06.2014 at 15:43
Rating: 8 They never disapoint
Sword_Chant - 16.07.2014 at 14:03
Rating: 10 It's still the best album of 2014 imo
devsho - 24.07.2014 at 19:25
Rating: 10 For now with insomnium one the best of 2014
Gopherhawk - 27.07.2014 at 09:12
Rating: 10 WOW!!! Just the right mix of cheesy, theatrical, epic, and death!
Susan - 03.01.2015 at 01:25
Rating: 9 I'm going back and forth with assigning this a 9 or 10.

It's different yet as amazing as Sagas and the debut. I didn't like Rekreatur, it lacked everywhere; this album brought me back to loving this wonderful band

Every song is awesome and grabs my attention. Glad so many others are loving it!!
Cynic Metalhead - 25.02.2015 at 16:05
Good album but not right contender to win MS award. It lacked in many places and couldn't even up-tempoed from spots initial song left on. They're tracks which was very low in quality and wasn't in flow with the record which it was flew in. Some tracks nailed the depth of the album.

Mixed reaction but adamant enough not to take away the major award or put up in 9s or 10s cadre.
me<3mertl - 20.04.2015 at 16:31
Rating: 10 One of 2014's best albums, and definitely one of my all time favorite folk metal albums!
