I had high hopes for them with Clementine! What a waste of her talent here. Very average album.

I never really cared for this band, but this is a good album.

Another extremely average and unoriginal album from this band. I do like the new vocals, but the songs are so bland in every way. Catchy, but not memorable.

I've got to say, I haven't heard the album but after their Yt clips, this is exactly the conclusion I had come to. The song construction were just too safe, predictable and unimaginative and I felt they weren't geting the best out of Clementine. Shame really, as they have always seamed incapable of releasing an album which exceeds 7/10.

First gig was Manowar (loincloths 'n' all), Bristol Colston Hall in March 1983, on the 'Hail to England' tour. Tickets were £3.75, 300 in the audience, Mercyful Fate never showed, but my hearing still got seriously trashed..
