Event information
Bonecrusher Fest is a new brand of festival tours by Avocado Booking. And just like their Never Say Die! tour the first edition looked like it's directed at the fans of the more modern incarnations of metal, with The Black Dahlia Murder as headliners and Carnifex, Obscura and The Faceless being part of the billing. Well, Carnifex are on the billing again and Annotations Of An Autopsy also represent the deathcore school, but the other 67% of the billing are pure and unadulterated metal! With brutal death/grinders Dying Fetus for headliners, Norway's exceptional black metal band Keep Of Kalessin as co-head, symphonic death metal monsters Fleshgod Apocalypse (who have been nominated for a Metal Storm Award in the Best death metal category) and Spanish oldschool thrashers Angelus Apatrida as openers this brutal package will please the more traditional death metal fans and the deathcore fans alike.
The tour stops for gigs in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and the Czech and Slovak Republics. The entire schedule can be found below or at the tour's Myspace, where you can also order tickets and t-shirts.
The opening night of the tour takes place in the Colos-Saal in the German city of Aschaffenburg, 40 km (25 miles) southeast of Frankfurt. Tickets are available at the link provided above (cheaper than on the tour site) or directly at the venue (even cheaper and you get fancy hard-tickets). Alternatively you can also make a confirmed reservation and pick up the reserved tickets on the night of the gig between 6 (doors open) and 7 p.m. (show time). |
