After 8 years, the grindcore masters Blockheads are going to release a new long player. Named Trip To The Void, it will be released this fall via Bones Brigade Records (CD) and LIXIVIAT Records (Vinyl). The outing was recorded, mixed and mastered by Steph Tanker at Disvlar Studio. It will see its release on CD/LP/digital format on January 22nd (North America), January 21st (UK/World), and January 18th (Germany/Benelux/Finland). Relapse Records has announced the signing of French grindcore activists Blockheads. The label released the following statement: "Formed 20 years ago, Blockheads (Xav - vocals, Fred - guitar/vocals, Nico - drums/vocals & Eric - bass/vocals) has unleashed four full-lengths in addition to numerous splits, comps and DVDs.
