23:00 - !J.O.O.E.! Really though, the gameplay of both is basically identical aside from a few things here and there (no middle roll for Demon's for example)
22:56 - !J.O.O.E.! Dark Souls is slightly easier too I think. Both are great though, you won't find Demon's Souls worse for playing DS first, even though there's fewer items and a non-open world. It has it's own strengths.
22:43 - PocketMetal also Demon Souls is not available on PC , and Dark Souls port need you to actually fix some stuff before playing. but they've promised a proper DS2 port.
22:39 - PocketMetal I would say Dark Souls , simply because it's a refined version of Demon Souls and it is still very hard to play. but Dark Souls 2 is coming out soon and it's not based on Dark Souls or at least not directly related.
22:31 - moonflash What game would you guys recommend for someone who hasn't played either and looking to get into the hype: Demon souls or Dark souls?

"It's with great pleasure we can now announce the next two bands for PROGPOWER SCANDINAVIA 2009:
Headliner for the first night of our main-event will be Swedish doom metal kings Candlemass (www.candlemass.se). 10 full length albums, a live album, a couple of live DVDs and a bunch of EPs, into their career and they are sounding better than ever, a statement to which the new album "Death Magic Doom" (their second with American vocalist Robert Lowe) serves as bullet-proof evidence. Although Candlemass isn't exactly power or progressive metal, we feel that their heavy-as-hell blend of classic metal infused riffs and doom-stomping beats makes them the prime example of how genre-descriptions doesn't really matter - it's all about the quality! We're sure that any open minded music fan will be able to embrace this fantastic band and enjoy witnessing them headline the first night of PP Scan 2009.
According to a Nuclear Blast posting, the one and only masters of Epic Doom, namely Candlemass, have just revealed some crucial details about their upcoming album. 02. Hammer Of Doom
03. The Bleeding Baroness
04. Demon Of The Deep
05. House Of 1,000 Voices

07. Clouds Of Dementia
08. My Funeral Dreams
In December, bassist/songwriter Leif Edling commented: "We've worked on all autumn and it feels really good that it is completed. The sound is superfat, heavy as hell, and very organic/dynamic at the same time. Our friend Chris Laney (Laney; Randy Piper, Zan Clan) has done a great job mixing it!! I personally think this album is the best one of the three we have released in the new millennium, easy!! It is bigger, better, louder and a bit more mature, I must say!! It is our "Heaven And Hell"."

Legendary Swedish doom metallers CANDLEMASS have completed work on their new album for an early 2009 release.
Commented bassist/songwriter Leif Edling: "We've worked on the album all autumn and it feels really good that it is completed. The sound is superfat, heavy as hell, and very organic/dynamic at the same time. Our friend Chris (Laney; Randy Piper, Zan Clan) has done a great job mixing it! I personally think this album is the best one of the three we have released in the new millennium, easy! It is bigger, better, louder and a bit more mature, I must say! It is our 'Heaven And Hell', hehe. And if you guys behave and eat your vegetables, we just might be able to add a couple of sound bits on the C-MASS site. Maybe the wait for the release in May next year will be easier. Check this page sometime before X-mas. The only thing that pisses me off is the fact that we can't call it 'Hammer Of Doom', after one of the songs on it. A brand new stupid festival in Germany calls themselves that! Who spilled the beans??? Well, well... the album absolutely KILLS and we will surely come up with a suitable name for it."
Swedish doom metal legends Candlemass have issued the following update:
"The new Candlemass EP Lucifer Rising is finally recorded and due for release first week of October. It features two brand new tracks 'Lucifer Rising' and 'White God'. It also contains a re-recorded version of 'Demon's Gate' live in the studio. As a bonus you will get most of the gig from Athens last year: 'At The Gallows End', 'Solitude', 'Emperor Of The Void', 'Devil Seed', 'Under The Oak', 'Mirror Mirror', 'Of Stars And Smoke', 'Black Dwarf' and 'Samarithan'. Yes, it is probably the worlds longest EP!!"
