Spanish metallers Dark Moor have presented their new video for the single "The Road Again". The band is about to release their new album Ars Musica next week on Scarlet Records. The video clip was directed by Oscar Martín from El Ojo Mecánico Productions. Watch how the video turned out below.
Spanish symphonic power metallers Dark Moor are going to release their 9th effort Ars Musica on June 18th via Scarlet Records. But, to raise the expectations, the group decided to release a teaser of the album that can be enjoyed below. Furthermore, their brand new song "The Road Again" is also available for streaming on the Soundcloud player.
Spanish symphonic/power metallers Dark Moor will release a brand new single, "The Road Again", at the end of the next week, on May 18th. The song for this single, which is already available for pre-order, comes off the group's upcoming album Ars Musica, which is scheduled to be released on June 18th via Scarlet Records.

Spanish power metallers Dark Moor have announced that they will enter New Sin Studios in January next year, the band is currently working on a new album which will be released in the spring of 2013. The band promises to publish updates about the progress of the album. The new release will follow 2010's Ancestral Romance.
Dark Moor has uploaded three audio samples from their upcoming album Ancestral Romance scheduled for release in November. The audio samples are of the first three songs off that record and you can listen to them at the band's MySpace page.
The theme of Ancestral Romance revolves around Spain's culture and history, as is well established in pieces like "Oh Wretched me! ", based on the "Life is a Dream" by Calderon de la Barca , "Tilt at Windmills" based on Don Quixote, "Mio Cid " inspired by the legend of the Spanish hero El Cid, "Alaric de Marnac", an adaptation of Paul Naschy's latest book of the same title, "Love from Stone" which tells of the legend of the lovers of Teruel, "Gadir" inspired by the first city founded in Europe: Cádiz, or "Ritual Fire Dance", adaptation of "Danza del Fuego" by Manuel de Falla, Spanish composer.
As was reported in June, the guys of Dark Moor have been working on a new album. The band has now unveiled more details on their upcoming new effort. The new Dark Moor album will be titled Ancestral Romance will be released in November 2010.The Cover Artwork for the new album was created by artist Samuel Araya (Cradle Of Filth, Elvenking etc).

It is a pleasure to inform you good news.
We are currently working on the songwriting of what will be our eighth studio album, which we get to burn in the summer.
In August we will depart for Italy to carry it out with the help of our long time friend and producer Luigi Stefanini from New Sin Studios, and we hope the new work sees the light at the end of this year.
Just tell you that there will be some surprises that we are sure you will like. We are very excited about how things are going out and we believe that is a very important step on our career.

Dark Moor are sad to announce that Dani Fernandez has decided to parts ways with the band. "We want to thank Dani for his work and dedication all these years and wish the very best for the future!"

"I will try to go straigh to the point in this statement. After thinking about this a lot, I took this tough decision that my time in Dark Moor ends here.
In the last few months my head was not with Dark Moor and this situation could have been damaging for the band and for my personal relation with Alfred, Enrik and Roberto in a near future, therefore after some conversations with the guys I have made this decision, which I think is the right thing to do.
The first single "On The Hill Of Dreams" of the new Dark Moor album "Autumnal" is now available at the band's MySpace page. The track was recorded at the New Sin Studios and it's a preview for the band's seventh forthcoming album "Autumnal", which is scheduled to be released in January 2009.
According to a recent update on their official website, Dark Moor's upcoming album will be entitled "Autumnal" and the cover artwork was created by Canadian artist Yaga Kielb.
