Devin Townsend has been hard at work on the new Z2 record for the past few months, and for this occasion, he invites whoever wants to sing along on the album. Much like Devin did with the "Lucky Animals" video from Epicloud, he is now inviting fans to leave their stamp on the forthcoming album by asking them to submit their vocals for a selection of songs and take their spot in what he has dubbed The Universal Choir.
Apart from working on a new Ziltoid album, and releasing the project Casualties Of Cool album, Devin Townsend is also working on a book! With the title Only Half There and to be published by Rocket 88, a website was created to determine how much interest there is for such a book. You can register or just check it out here and the website offers some more information on what the book is about. The more interest there is, the sooner the book can become a reality. Coming from Devin Townsend, you know that at least it is going to be entertaining.

The recording for the new album has begun and the Casualties Of Cool pledge (currently at 490% !) is also funding the Ziltoid project. Some days ago, Devin Townsend announced that he was going to launch a crowdfunding campaign for his album Casualities Of Cool. The day has come: the campaign has begun, and you can pledge in exchange of various bundles here. All pledges include a free download of the album upon the May 14th release date and everyone who pledges will receive regular updates from Devin and Ché Dorval plus exclusive downloads. Once the target is reached, all other proceedings will go straight into the Z2 project, which is due to start soon.
