As promised, Sirenia just revealed their new lead singer. And she is... Emmanuelle Zoldan. And not Liv Kristine as some might have guessed/hoped for. Emmanuelle Zoldan isn't exactly new to the band as she has been cooperating with them since their second album An Elixir For Existence as part of the choir. From now on, she fronts the band and can be heard on the band's forthcoming new album, Dim Days Of Dolor.

Norwegian symphonic Gothic metallers Sirenia announced on Facebook today that lead vocalist Pilar Giménez García, better known as Ailyn, is leaving the band for personal reasons. The band also confirmed that the production of their next album and upcoming tour will continue as planned, and they are currently seeking out a new lead singer to take over Ailyn's role. Ailyn, however, is saying that this was not her decision.
Norwegian female fronted metal act Sirenia will embark on a European headlining tour in November. The 16-date long trek, which starts in Berlin (on November 10th) and ends in London (on November 27th), also includes performance at Aalborg Metal Festival. Support on the road will come from Týr, Unleash The Archers, Xaon and Relicseed. A few more shows will be added to the tour shortly, so stay tuned.
