18:28 - ScreamingSteelUS "Murdered in the Basement" is a fantastic song. And to be fair, I'd probably enjoy some of 6FU's stuff quite a bit if they had a proper vocalist. A lot of it would still be shit, though.
17:56 - Apothecary Pretty fucking strong trio (Stephen O'Malley, Attila, Oren Ambarchi). Definitely needs some new material [link]
17:54 - Karlabos Yeah, 6 feet is indeed terrifying
17:49 - Fearmeister I'm fine with 2 feet. Don't know what people want with 6 feet
17:13 - flightoficarus86 It served as decent entry level the way a lot of other crap does. Joe, you've got me embarrassed because my list was all 2000's. I LOVE Quicksand. Going to have to add a 90's portion.
17:08 - Sun Shiny One of my very first. Looking back I'm kinda like what was I thinking... :D

Johan will still perform on the summer festivals and then it's over, at least for him.

"Me and Lars (Sköld, producer etc.) are finishing up the new LucyFire demo to be sent out to record companies. We have plenty of songs, but so far we'll tease them with these four: 'Thunder & Lightning', 'All The Children Sing', 'Codeine', 'Black Gold'.
I just got back from Sweden where I visited Lars cozy studio. We got A.D. Lord in there to bang out a teardripping lead for 'Codeine'. In the meantime, listen to 'All The Children Sing'. Because I'm a lovely person."

We're extremely happy to inform our Swedish fans that we have just been confirmed to perform at this years Metaltown festival in Gothenburg on the 30th of July!!! Other bands on that festival are Beseech, Nine, Apocalyptica, our bloodbrothers Dark Tranquillity, and the great Rammstein!
Recently we have received many emails asking about a rumour saying that Tiamat is about to split up. The answer to you bunch is: What planet are you from?
The DVD "Church of Tiamat" has been delayed and is now set for a release in the end of October. We're just finishing up packaging and deciding what to put in the bonus section. Siggi Bemm did a great job mixing the audio, both in stereo and 5.1!!!
On the official site a message is posted concerning the release of Tiamat's DVD.
Century Media has scheduled a release of the Tiamat's DVD entitled "Church Of Tiamat" for September. It WILL be mixed in 5.1 surround sound by their favourite mixing engineer Siggi Bemm in Woodhouse Studios. The band are very pleased by that. They also say that "Still it's not too late to mail us your perverted dreams of bonus material!" So go ahead people and mail your suggestions, your wish might be granted.
Tiamat also state that they will start working on new songs.
Here are the announcements posted on the band website:
"1st of April 2005
Tiamat Is No More...
Today Tiamat announced that they have decided to split up due to "religious differencies". All future concerts and studio sessions have been cancelled. Tiamat would like to thank their fans for the support and apologize for the lack of glue in the most cracked substances of the Tiamat subjects. This page will be maintained until the contracts run out, then remain dark forever. Thanks for everything!"
"2nd of April 2005
Yes, the rumours are true! Tiamat are back together and will do many reunion shows this spring and summer, and serve their fans a "best of" orgy in nostalgia that only middle-aged rock'n'rollers can put up! All band members will travel individually and have separate backstage rooms to avoid confronting each other. The therapist has been sacked and the money saved will go straight into the pockets of the religious leaders of the CoT."
