02:25 - !J.O.O.E.! I'm gonna zone out to this and sleep, night y'all [link]
02:23 - Fearmeister Anywho, I'm super impatient for this album to drop [link]
02:22 - !J.O.O.E.! @ZON: Do eeeet. @Fear: I haven't actually heard the new one. I might give it a whirl,
02:21 - Apothecary I wouldn't mind that, Mr. ZÖN. There's certainly not enough of it around, and I think the jammy nature of krautrock makes the style really varied (compare the sound of Oranssi Pazuzu to Aluk Todolo, for example)
02:19 - Fearmeister *shakes Jooe* wake up, its their best since Archaic Course... seriously
We all remember Peter Steele, the legendary vocalist of Type O Negative and also Carnivore, who passed away in 2010 at the age of 48 reportedly due to a heart failure. Peter Steele, also known as frontman of the band Carnivore, has already died once as a publicity stunt back in 2005. Due to this, we are not yet going to believe in the rumors of his passing this time around. We'll keep you updated as we find out more.
If he's dead, that sucks. If not, fool me once...
Sadly, Peter Steele's death has now been confirmed to us by an SPV representative. Blabbermouth and even the band's official website also contain confirmation.
Peter Steele is dead at 48. His cause of death is not yet confirmed. There are a lot of fans of the band amongst Metal Storm staffers and users and all of us definitely feel devastated by Pete's untimely passing. You still had a few great albums in you, Peter. It is a shame we will never hear them.

With that said, we would like to announce that stepping in on keyboards for the dates will be Scott Warren from Heaven And Hell/Dio."

TYPE O NEGATIVE's management has issued a statement regarding the postponement of the band's fall 2004 U.S. tour. It reads as follows:
"During a recent medical exam, undisclosed anomalies were discovered and it was suggested that Peter Steele, lead singer, bassist and songwriter, undergo further tests.
"As a firm timetable for the tests and the subsequent results is indeterminable, it has been decided to postpone the fall tour to a later date when there will be no foreseeable conflicts with scheduling.
"In the meantime, TYPE O NEGATIVE continues to work on the forthcoming release, the first for new label SPV, due in 2005."
Amorphis were supposed to go on the road along with Type O.
