Leprous - Guitarist Petter Hallaråker To Fill In Live

One of Norway's inspiring progressive acts, Leprous, have just announced that guitarist Øystein Landsverk will take a parental leave soon, due to the upcoming birth of his first child. The band were pre-planning this with ICS Vortex and Rendezvous Point's guitarist, Petter Hallaråker. The lads at Leprous stated accordingly that they will be playing the remaining dates of this year's tour as usual, with Petter stepping up to substitute Øystein Landsverk.

Leprous - Announce New Album Title And European Tour

After confirming that they were in the studio, today proggers Leprous have announced big news! They just revealed that their new album title will be The Congregation. It will be released on May 25th in Europe and June 2nd in United States via InsideOutMusic. You can mark your calendars and start hyping about it! The Norwegian progsters Leprous are back in the studio working on the follow-up album to 2013's acclaimed latest release Coal. Even though the new opus is still untitled, it is expected for a May 2015 release via InsideOutMusic. Good news all around! Dissona - Announce Show With Leprous, New Material Update

US metallers Dissona have announced via their Facebook page that they were invited by Leprous to join them for a show at Reggie's in Chicago. In the same post, they also announced that they were still working on new material and plan on premiering two new songs at their next several shows. Dissona have been working on material since late 2013 and it seems to be a slow moving process. We'll have to wait and see if 2014 will provide us with a new album, or if their heavy volume of shows will push the writing process into next year.

Leprous - Announce New Drummer

Baard Kolstad has been announced as the new permanent drummer of Norwegian metallers Leprous. He already did the entire Coal tour with the band replacing Tobias Ørnes Andersen, who is stepping down. The band and Tobias agreed that it would be best that Baard Kolstad joined full-time, all on good terms. In terms of good news, 21 new sketches are written for the new album, so that's a start!

Haken - UK Tour With Leprous And Maschine

Proggers Haken have recently confirmed that they will join forces with Leprous and Maschine for a UK and Irish tour later this year. The three bands will tour in October and November 2014, showcasing some of the progressive talent that InsideOut have to offer. Haken released The Mountain last year while Leprous will showcase their latest release Coal. Brighton-based progressive rockers Maschine released their debut album Rubidium last August. Looks like a fun tour in prospect.

Vulture Industries - Supporting Leprous On European Tour, New Album Title
