Scandinavia! Are you ready to be blessed? German power metallers Powerwolf have announced that they are going to preach in Scandinavian clubs for the very first time, and will be accompanied by Swedish power metal band Civil War. The tour kicks off this fall.
Things have started to happen in the camp of the Finnish samurais lately, also known as the band Whispered. Last year, they revealed a song from their upcoming album Metsutan - Songs Of The Void called "Sakura Omen", and now it is time to reveal another song and lyric video. The song is called "Strike!", and will be the second track on the album.
Finnish monster rockers Lordi have announced that they have "slammed into the studio with producer Nino Laurenne to record some killer new tunes", possibly for an upcoming album. If you forgot who Lordi is, they kind of "revolutionized" the Eurovision Song Contest by winning the whole thing in 2006 with their hit "Hard Rock Hallelujah".

It has been quiet in the camp of German industrial metallers Rammstein, apart from a lawsuit, but now they have announced two shows in Germany on July 8th and 9th, at the Waldbühne in Berlin. These shows will be their only solo shows in Germany in 2016. Tickets go on sale on April 26th here.

Norwegian progressive black metal band Enslaved have announced that they are going to embark on an European tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Australian extreme prog metallers Ne Obliviscaris will be joining this tour as a direct support to Enslaved. The tour is kicking off in the last months of 2016, and so far 16 shows are announced. Last week, Finnish melodic metallers Insomnium hinted that they were hitting the studio, possibly to start the recording for a new album. Insomnium can now reveal that they are on their last day of recording drums in SF Sound studio. So far, they haven't given the fans any specific details about what they are recording exactly, but it seems like we have to brace ourselves for some cold, shivering tunes.

Swedish metallers In Mourning have revealed new details about their upcoming fourth full-length album. The album will be called Afterglow, and is due to be released on May 20th through Agonia Records. The artwork, which has an epic doom feeling to it, has been designed by Kristian "Necrolord" Wåhlin, who has previously worked with bands such as Bathory, Tiamat, Amorphis and Dark Tranquillity.
