From Chaos To Eternity is the title of the new Rhapsody Of Fire full length album, that will be released in Spring 2011 through Nuclear Blast at a worldwide level.

Here's the official Italian-cheese press release:

The 10th studio album of the Italian power metal act will be a new musical masterpiece. Described by the band as the natural evolution of the monumental chartbreaker of 2010 The Frozen Tears Of Angels, the new album will represent an important goal in the history of Rhapsody Of Fire, as it will be the last one based in the fantasy saga started in 1997 with the debut album Legendary Tales.

As usual Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli will be the producers of the new work. But for the first time, part of such a production (vocals and guitar recordings) was and will be mostly based in Trieste, the Italian hometown of the two founders. The recordings of bass and drums already took place in Wolfsburg at "The Gate Studio" under the wise supervision of their longtime friend Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Angra and more).

Luca says: "We are really proud to reveal to the whole world that the production of our new full length album is at a very good point already. Lyrically it has a particular meaning for all of us, as with the 5th and final chapter of the "Dark Secret Saga" our band will close its fantasy cycle started 13 years ago. The dark secret will finally reveal itself and for the last time Sir Christopher Lee will give his unique and fundamental contribution to our work.

Musically expect something really special out of the ten album titles. A song like "Ghosts Of Forgotten Worlds" with its rageous and hypnotic guitar riff, will make you breath the dusty atmospheres of the southern ghostlands. "Aeons Of Raging Darkness" is pure melodic chaos translated into music, "Tornado" the greatest technical challenge for each single bandmember and "Tempesta Di Fuoco", the first speed track completely sung in Italian language. For my song "Fantasia Gotica" I wrote and finalized the cinematic orchestral arrangements inspired by the visionary genius of Tim Burton, while "The Splendour Of Angels's Glory (A Final Revelation)" is Alex's choral and majestic track for the perfect finale of the dark secret saga. Our bass player Patrice Guers and our drummer Alex Holzwarth did their best job so far in a Rhapsody Of Fire album. One more word is needed to underline the excellent performance of our singer: in this new release, Fabio Lione will present himself definitely as one of the best and most versatile singers, being able to pass with unique ability and talent from the most aggressive vocals, to clean angelic voices and powerful operatic parts. Once more you are going to be really surprised."

Alex Staropoli adds: "As always the cinematic elements that defined our style will enrich each track, but the guitar work will be again very important too. What is sure is, that for such an album Luca and I composed our best solos ever!"

From Chaos To Eternity will be released in spring 2011, in a jewelcase standard edition of 24 pages, and in an exclusive limited edition of 48 pages, full of great and unique surprises - as well as two bonus tracks, for a total of 65 minutes of Rhapsody Of Fire's legendary music.

Yes!

I just saw the news on facebook. Looks like it's their final album or at least the last in the universe Luca created.
Well, I hope this one will be the ultimate RoF Album!
Holy Man - 06.12.2010 at 21:11

"The 10th studio album of the Italian power metal act will be a new musical masterpiece."

after reading this, i realized i have to listen to this album when it comes out. if it's that good then i'm gonna enjoy the music, if it's really bad, then it surely will turn out HILARIOUS
farfaramir - 06.12.2010 at 22:47

They say the same bullshit each time they release a new album. A Rhapsody announcement is just like a Manowar announcement: sheer arrogance and vanity. Only marketing sentences full of superlatives with no meaning in the end. I wonder if I should laugh at the cheesiness and stupidity of their annoucements or to be pissed off at the cockiness.

The songs are not even in their final state yet and they already call the album a masterpiece. I thought everyone new, in this day and age, that great music speaks for itself and doesn't need ultra-cheesy arrogant announcements.

By the way, it's a good thing the actual saga is coming to an end. This saga sucked and lead nowhere anyway.

On a sidenote, the new Forgotten Tales, "We Shall See The Light", blows everything RoF released in 2010 out of the water.

Since these guys showed the middle finger to Joey DeMaio, it's been non-stop action!!!

The Frozen Tears of Angels was quite a surprise but the EP was lame and corny. I don't know what to expect from RoF at this point. Their last really great album was Power of the Dragonflame, hope that they'll recapture some of that agressive feeling and go easy on the cheesy orchestrations. After all...this is power metal, it's supposed to have power and not only pompous keyboards and Mr. Lee's narrations. That's Manowar on their last albums.

None. And I'm not a musician. Just listen to the album, it's much better than RoF.
They make it a much better job at keeping it melodic Speed Metal.

By the way, I don't think any member of a band would post this kind of comment against another band. It's far from a good marketing strategy.

FUCK YEAAAAA. RoF is fuckn epic

Nice, cant wait for another great album,

but i'm sure that almost every true die hard fan of ROF thinks like me: that never ever will be another Dawn of Victory and of course nothing better than that album

Im a true hard fan and the best album is SoEL (I). Not by far...

They are bringing new stuff out so quickly because they probably wrote it all during the time they were fighting the legal battle and not releasing any albums.

It took them only two years to create that album. Power Of The Dragonflame is my favorite, though I like all of their albums.

You're getting more convincing, good job. You're not the singer, cause she's a chick. Narrows it down to five possibilties.

This not supposed to be power metal, this is what it is, rhapsody of fire music.
