Saw them at Wacken 09 and in Helsinki this summer.
They really kick ass live. Hope they find a good replacement! |

Disappointing
The band? I totally agree. I can't believe how popular they are outside Finland... |

Well, you have to recognize that they are talented. And very young. Therefore they have a lot of potential. They are one of those bands that could grow into a really great band... or fail.
Does anyone know if they are looking for a vocalist with a similar style (growls + clean singing)? I don't think they will change their sound anyway, but I'm just curious. |

To the comments saying that "He was a great singer" - you speak like he died. He just parted ways with this magnificent band.
But this was a real hit for me, when I first heard of it.
Good luck to the replacer. |

| I'm left a little less satisfied with the new single and the new direction. I really was digging the old Tracedawn and found them pretty unique. They originally brought something to the table that set them apart from all the clones. New vocalist is talented but now I can't help but think to myself immediately that they are heavily influenced and at times nearly indistinguishable from Soilwork. Not a bad thing, as I do like Soilwork, but just not the Tracedawn I grew to love. Antti had some mysterious chemistry I guess. I'll look for him in another band. |
