"Velvet Heart", a brand-new track from German/Norwegian symphonic metal band Leaves' Eyes, has been made available for streaming on Facebook (scroll down to second post).
"Velvet Heart" comes off the band's upcoming new album Meredead, which will be released on April 22nd through Napalm Records. More album details were previously reported over here.

| So nothing special at all... of course it's only 1 song, but I don't expect much from an album that has such a radio/masses friendly song. out of all my favourite bands that released albums in the last 6 months only Heavenwood haven't disappointed, thank god there's so many new bands breaking through |

| Sounded ok to me. Almost every Leaves' Eyes album so far to me has had some which were incredible and ones which bored the crap out of me. This one will probably fall into the later category when I hear full thing, Still, the band seems really excited about this release which makes me interested to hear it! |

| I agree with the previous comments, I too found it dull and nothing special. I hope the rest of the album is more interesting. |

| The poppy sounding keyboards really leave a BAD taste in my mouth. The violins(or cello..can't really tell) are a nice touch but i really can't get past the keyboards |
