Gorod - Sign With Unique Leader Records For North America, Reveal More Album Details

Unique Leader Records press release:

We are pleased to announce that legendary French progressive tech death metal outfit Gorod signs multi album deal for North America with Unique Leader Records.

For years Gorod has set high levels of killer over the top extreme metal releases which many have seen as inspiration and influence on their writing techniques. As the band furthers itself in mind blowing song structure and deliverance they are set to unleash their 4th onslaught of technical mayhem on the masses entitled A Perfect Absolution.

In Fall 2011 the band finished recording sessions for the new release with famed French metal producer Frederic "Elmobo" Motte which also features guest solos by Christian Muenzner (Obscura) & Mike Keene (The Faceless). The end result in production is a perfect compliment.

Gorod is without a doubt one of the most amazing progressive tech death metal bands in the scene today and they are ready to spread their radioactive songwriting once again all over the world.

A Perfect Absolution will be available in North America May 8th in CD, vinyl and digital format.

A Perfect Absolution will be released in Europe on March 12th through Listenable Records.

A Perfect Absolution tracklist and cover art:

01. Birds Of Sulphur
02. Sailing Into The Earth
03. Elements And Spirit
04. The Axe Of God
05. 5000 At The Funeral
06. Carved In The Wind
07. Varangian Paradise
08. Tribute Of Blood

Wow that cover art is beautiful. As for the press release well we just have to take it for what it is: Nothing worthy of attention until samples come out. What I really wanna know is who is behind such masterfully crafted artwork.

Yohann "HAÄSH" Huhner is the man behind the artwork, but, indeed, the music is what matters, and I just can't wait.

I wonder how much it cost them to get Madonna to model for the cover art.
