Delain - New Video Online

"Get The Devil Out Of Me", the brand new video from Dutch symphonic metallers Delain has premiered at this location. Alternatively, you can watch it below. The video contains all sorts of video footage including studio recordings and live material, footage from the Sonisphere Festival in the UK (used with kind permission of BlinkTV). In less than a week the band will kick off their European tour where they will perform new songs from the upcoming We Are The Others, set for release on June 1st via Roadrunner Records.

Haha the fact that some symphonic bands so closely resemble pop is amusing to me... so strange.

I was just thinking that as well. Honestly I remain Delain's April Rainand outside of title track was pretty generic. Sadly this seems to lack even the delicate, and/or mystacality on the backdrop of heavy, but poppy, riffs to give it any kind of individuality. I suppose her voice is utilized a bit better, even though, as said, feels closer to [European acceptable] pop.

I hope the rest of the album would not be the same as this "pop/rock" song. Nothing compares to their debut album.

Nothing compares to their debut album.

Maybe that's the problem. After Lucidity, they simply cannot top it.

Should we still be labelling bands? Does it matter if its pop or rock or metal?

One question. Do you like it?

Everything else is irrelevant.

Couldn't agree more. I like it a lot. A real killersong.

Should we still be labeling bands... uh, yes. Otherwise you get symphonic metal fans getting black metal recommendations because we're just calling everything "music" now.
