18:45 - !J.O.O.E.! Well if I listen to it and get 45 minutes of aimless post-rock rambling then I'm billing you for the time I wasted.
18:43 - Erik M. I'm listening to it now and so far I would say it's AT LEAST better than everything Fen did except for The Maledicton Fields, so that already says quite a bit. Have to spin it more to determine if it's their best work or 2nd best.
18:41 - !J.O.O.E.! Nevermind, I see your earlier comment now. I'll give it a go before the year is up.
18:38 - !J.O.O.E.! Well just said you can't tell if it's as good as The Malediction Fields, so I assume you haven't heard it ;)
18:37 - Erik M. Yeah, just go ahead and ignore what J.N. and I are saying about it, then. ;)
18:34 - !J.O.O.E.! More of a once bitten, twice shy thing. I haven't read anything that suggests it's a return to form, however, I might give them one more chance at some point. It's definitely not high up on my list of stuff to listen to right now.
18:33 - Fradd downlo-- i mean, purchasing it right now
Long time no see Vanden Plas. Three years have passed since the release of The Seraphic Clockwork, the band's latest album, and today there's finally some news about what's next for the power/prog metallers. Be prepared for a new Vanden Plas album next year, more precisely in January. The band has been recording new material and preparing the new release.
Band update: "First of all - sorry for the long time without some V.P. news. After we finally finished the new album (release January 14), Andy played - berger in 'hair' - in 21 sold out shows 42.000 people were watching in Augsburg a very unique stageplay on one of the most beautiful outdoor stages in Europe. During this time the rest of the band were playing very successful 'aida' in Kaiserslautern. And now - we slowly want to work off all the news for you. Be prepared for many many upcoming Vanden Plas facts during the next months. All the best to all our friends out there - and we hope you had a very great summer!"
