23:59 - Netzach Czerny, I get your point but I'd say the same about "Ashes"... It just gets too droney and gaze-ish in sections. Limbs and Not Unlike the Waves are awesome though... The Mantle has this "whiskey fueled regret"-feel I adore
23:55 - Netzach Btw, AMA on Reddit with A.A Nemtheanga if anyone's interested [link]
23:51 - Czerny Reiter Ashes Against the Grain & Marrow take the cake for me. The Mantle has some sections where it loses steam and gets all too mellow.
23:45 - Overrwatcher The Mantle is beautiful. It's not technical or experimental, it's just a well-crafted album made with simple instruments. I show it to non-metalhead friends and they love it.
23:12 - Netzach 3rd, compared to those albums, The Mantle contains a lot more post-rock and acoustic/folk.
23:10 - Netzach Agalloch are so damn uneven though. The Mantle is fantastic and I also really like Marrow... but as for the rest, meh.
In Flames have released a brand video for the title track of their latest album Sounds Of A Playground Fading. The video, that is made of footage from the band's recent live shows, was produced by Patric Ullaeus. The Swedes are currently working on new material, but for now, while you wait, you can enjoy this video below.
The amusement park Gröna Lund (Stockholm, Sweden) announced that In Flames is confirmed for a special show next week, September 27th, 2013. Gröna Lund had in fact closed their park for the season, but when they got word that In Flames was available, they decided to re-open the park, just for this show. Now that is nice of them.
