German death metal band Centaurus-A is currently recording a new album with session singer Lawrence Mackrory (Darkane, F.K.Ü., Scarve). The recordings are taking place at Dugout Studios with Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah) to follow the debut Side Effects Expected.

The band comments: "It's with great pleasure to let you know that the awesome Lawrence Mackrory of Darkane, F.K.Ü. & Scarve will be the singer on the new album! Lawrence is right now recording the vocals and will make it a beast of an album! We're stoked to have him on board as session singer for the recordings!"

Lawrence Mackrory also comments: "It's very brutal, very technical and very, very good. The album is being produced, engineered and mixed by Daniel Bergstrand."

The band also recently split with vocalist Johannes Henke due to "internal reasons".

Side Effects Expected was not to bad. It is interesting to hear what these guys will do on the new album. Hopefully, something original.
