Hoy shit these guys make some ridiculously solid and tight music. I fucking loved this track.

Great song. Funny way of teasing people right after the release of an album. But seriously, I know what it means, but the only thing I picture when I read the title is this:

Mr. Doctor - 18.07.2014 at 18:31
Now I won't listen to it in the same way..... Thanks. Really.
Karlabos - 18.07.2014 at 18:35
This track seems more in the veins of the first album rather than taking the legacy of the 2nd. I like that.

Wtf these guys have so much free time hah.

I have lots of free time and I somehow can't bring myself to make delicious sludge metal. I feel absolutely AWFUL.

I deleted that comment. Posting pics without accompanying words is spam.

RIGHT, ILHAM?!

(PS should I listen to these guys? I see them talked about a lot on here but I've never bothered. Any bands I might know that you could compare them to?)

Solly Tloyu-saaaan.

Yes you should. Erm, I'll leave the comparing bit to my dear Joe. Just listen to their second, Gastronomicon, who the hell cares about what Joe has to say anyway.

I dunno, there's someone that's always bugging me to talk, I guess she / he cares =P

I think I once described Slugdge as a more fun / less serious, and more melodic version of Dragged Into Sunlight. A nice medium of death, sludge, black and even some thrash metal parts too with a nice emphasis on riffs that stay in the mind.

Yeah, I mean, I should stop lying to myself and just say it. I love you.

Yeah Dragged Into Sunlight, but without the crazy, the psychedelic, the dark, and more energetic. Sludge is the Jekyll of Dragged Into Sunlight.

I love you.

There she finally said it!
Troy Killjoy - 18.07.2014 at 22:56
Just finished listening. Not really my thing but far from bad. I can see why DIS was brought up as a comparison, and agree that Slugdge are the Jekyll in that regard.

I really liked the vocal work but would have preferred a more psychedelic approach.

Karlabos - 19.07.2014 at 00:28
I think the genre should be switched to "slugdge metal"
