Jess And The Ancient Ones was Staff picked as the best hard rock album back in 2012, and now Jess And The Ancient Ones are enjoying the attention of King Diamond. The band was picked by the man himself to support King Diamond on their North American tour. Some arenas are already sold out. In other news, the band has recorded two new songs which are to be released on November 15th on 10" vinyl. You can stream the song "Castaneda" below.

Here's part of the band's message: "King Diamond would like to welcome Jess And The Ancient Ones as the opening act for the North American tour this fall. The occult rock group from Kuopio, Finland, was personally selected by King Diamond himself to be the openers on the tour."





The band had this to say about the song: "A path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you... Look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself alone, one question... Does this path have a heart?
