Nile - Debut Another New Song

The mighty masters of brutality, Nile, have released a second lyric video to showcase another brand new track off of their upcoming album, What Should Not Be Unearthed. The album will be released this August 28th, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records. "Evil To Cast Out Evil" is the second single. If you are curious about it, don't miss the chance to listen to it right here. Unearth "Evil To Cast Out Evil" from Nile if you dare.

Mastermind Karl Sanders stated: "Out of sheer appreciation for our fans, who have unequivocally made known their demands; the members of Nile have agreed to release a second preview track from our upcoming What Should Not Be Unearthed album. The song is called 'Evil To Cast Out Evil'. This lyric video comes without a prefaced disclaimer, or warning label, as it seems that some listeners/viewers completely ignore them anyway, and are determined to glean whatever random arbitrary messages from the song they damn well please. Well, OK, we understand - music and music videos are inherently artistic by nature, and are therefore of course subject to interpretation by the audience. But don't say WE didn't warn you. The danger this time is not from Radical Terrorists, Religious Fanatics, left wing apologist sympathizers, self-important Music Critics, or right wing ultra-nationalists deliberately misinterpreting our music - hell bent on imposing Fox News ideology upon unsuspecting music fans. No, the danger this time is to your mortal soul. If upon hearing this song, you insist on repeated listens, or interminably bang your head, or even feel compelled against your will to sing along with this uber catchy Metal Anthem; then don't blame us if you wake up the next morning with your head spinning around backwards, hurling green vomit, walking down stairs upside down on all fours like an inverted spider, or speaking to your Mom in a cookie monster voice at the breakfast table, or otherwise channeling the possessed spirit of Linda Blair. You have been sufficiently warned. Have a nice day and see you on Tour!"

Previously, the band has also shared "Call To Destruction".

Sound and Vocals are extremelly poor for second album in a row... I almost lost all my interest in this (awesome musically) band...

I think sounds better than the last song they released. Or at least this one held my attention for longer.

Music was my life, music brought me to life and music is how I will be remembered long after I leave this life. When I die there will be a final waltz in my head that only I can hear.

I actually like this song quite a bit. The mix isn't great but definitely better then their last album. I think Those Whom the Gods Detest was their best mixed album personally, and stylistically I thought it was amazing too... I really thought it fit the technical style of the band as it was a very clear and precise sound. I would just like the rhythm guitars to sound more defined on this album. I'm definitely looking forward to it though; both songs they released grab me more than anything on At the Gates of Sethu.

To those bitching about the sound of THIS record already, you're either deaf, or have no clue regarding what a damn good production/mix job sounds like. The production of Sethu...all intentional to get a clean and clear sound. The production of this album? Also intention to get the opposite effect. Huge sound. In your face. Louder guitars this time while drums are turned a bit down. The members have stated in interviews that they really like how massive the new songs came out. There's just no pleasing fans these days. Anyway....these two tracks sound fucking incredible.....can't wait for the album to drop HAIL NILE.

The production is fine. I can't believe no one has brought any attention to the vocals - this is where it's weak imo. I liked when they all did vocals, i don't even know if Sanders is there at all? It's just Dallas alone which sucks as his style is a little repetitive on every album. Fantastic song, but not diverse or heavy enough in vocals for me.

What are you people talking about?

Guitars are clear, vocals are understandable. Sound has improved over At the gates of Sethu.
Voice is not a matter of mix/production, but mannerism and interpretation and dramaticism (much less forced here).

Another great song.

Well, at least the song is better than the previous one. I was expecting it to end after the solo though, but it kept going for another two minutes, just to make sure we'd remember the song title. I still can't find a good reason not to listen to In Their Darkened Shrines or any early Nile album instead of this. The sound is much more interesting there and the songwriting a lot stronger.
